Dhansari Belsot Mechanized Bridge (यान्त्रिक पुल)

The proposed ropeway in Dhansari-Belsot will be two lines (going and coming) with one trolley on each, traveling in opposite direction. Both the trolleys will be operated by a single closed-loop hauling cable with the help of an electric motor operated by electricity from national grid. A generator provides back-up power to the drive system just in case. The capacity of motor will be 15 kW and for a cable distance of 635m, it will take less than 5 minutes to pass through. A trolley runs over two support cables or track cables which will be anchored at both ends with the help of concrete and steel structures. The payload capacity of the ropeway will be around 400kg facilitating four people boarding at a place in a trolley. Local people from marketplace will embark at one place and stay inside the trolley until the desired station is reached.

Enhancement of agricultural production, promotion of tourism and attractive revenue generation for local people are some of the direct outcomes expected from the project. There are innumerable sites where schools, hospitals and markets are at few hundred meters of aerial distance in another village, but it takes hours to reach there because of difficult terrain. Proposed ropeway connects such villages in Dhansari-Belsot improving the condition of education, health, tourism and employment by the implementation of the project.

The very nature of this project makes the facility available to everyone in the locality. However children (needing schools), farmers (needing market) and women and old people (needing emergency healthcare) will be primarily benefited from the project. Internal tourism in religious places excels where hotel business and trade flourish by implementing such project. The journey through the rope way will give people a good opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of the beautiful landscape and a life time experience.
