Nepal is popularly known as the land of Mountain ,
Himalayas,Temple ,diversified culture and flora and fauna.The
topographyis extremely rugged and crisscrossed by numerous untamed
river.There are about 6000 river and rivulets in Nepal .Hence, the
majority of human settlements located in hilly and mountainous area of
the country are not accessible by motorized vehicle.During the monsoon
period whole area of the hinterland are cut off from the road network
and thus for food supply,health facilitties,schools, important markets
and other essential services.Till the people are lagely depend upon back
load transportation and traditional river crossings which claimed
hundreds of life every year.Road transport in rugged and young and
fragile topogaphy lean to environment degardation and dusty.
Nepal has robust potential to be tourism destination if we can facilitate the development of infrastructures and policy framework in order to boost private entrepreneurship to attract investment transportation and tourism industry. Ropeway and cable car could be the crucial infrastructure to lessen such harsh life in rural area of Nepal and it add as a new attraction object and destination for tourism. It would offer opportunity to create employment, alleviate poverty and provide basic services including good governance improving the supply of food and linkage with road network , reducing conflict and ensuring peace and security
